I know this may sound silly - but I'm looking for a craft project for my 9.5 month old to do for her grandmothers for mothers day. (I use "to do" lightly, clearly, it will be me, with her help!)
I was thinking of a painting of a bunch of flowers with each petal is her thumbprint. Any other ideas?
Thanks!

At my daughter's daycare they made a butterfly where the wings were handprints--they drew the body and then placed the handprints like wings. My daughter's 17 months but I think a 9.5 month old could easily do this. It turned out really cute.

For kids that young, I highly endorse either the handprint in a frame, or a photo.
Next year, perhaps, think about crayon drawings, fabric pen scribbles on a handkerchief or tote bag, or other "crafty" mother's day gift.
