I'd love some ideas to find modern and fun Christmas stockings for the fam. I love some that I've found on etsy, but they're pretty small and, you know, I want to actually be able to fill them up!
Many thanks!

Good question on the stockings. The thing that holds me back is wondering if they will sell the same kind in a year or two, so the next kid's one will coordinate. If that's not a concern, Crate & Barrel has a few different styles for $20-25 each - some have a white cuff that I guess you could put a name on, although they don't offer embroidery. The size says 10" x 16.5" http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=15&f=30709

I like the Hable stockings at Garnet Hill, although they are pricey.

I like the pottery barn ones:

Also, I don't know of this is an option but making stockings is super easy. Just cut the shape you want for the stockings, take your cuff fabric and fold it over the top so it's on both the outside and inside, sew the top and bottom of the cuff. Place the two stocking pieces right sides together and sew them (leaving the opening at the top, obviously) and turning them inside out. Voila! Stocking.
I made them for our whole family this weekend and it took me about an hour to make 4 of them!

We got some cute ones from Land of Nod last year. Here's a picture of my boys in them. Yes, *in* them. Heh.
