Cozi Central Scheduler

2007-02-07-cozi1.jpg

Cozi Central is an online scheduling application geared toward busy families. We happened upon it a while ago but thought nothing more of it.

Then maternity leave ended, the nanny started and we made the re-entry into corporate America.

Timing and communication became everything. We were juggling doctor appointments, feeding schedules, play dates - and this is all before our first birthday!

It was time to pay Cozi a revisit.

2007-02-07-cozi.gifLocated in Seattle, Cozi is the brainchild of a group of ex-Microsoft execs. The software allows you to enter your families' appointments all in one central place. This calendar is then available to the entire family so conflicts can be avoided. Family members can access the information from a computer or mobile phone. There also are nifty features like centralized lists, quick messages, and a family photo collage.

The best part - Cozi is free. Let us know if you've ever tried Cozi or what you use to keep your schedules straight...

I love that you can text message everyone in your family with Cozi. Plus, my husband and I needed one calendar online we could both log onto to keep track of everything that is going on, when each of us would be traveling for work (more him than me) so we could make sure that all the bases are covered. I also think it both hilarious and incredibly useful to have Cozi text-message my grocery list to my phone when I left it at home last week! I have to say that I agree with Janie.

Not only can my husband and I can be on the same page with our family schedule, but also Cozi has created a faithful assistance! As long as we have entered the information in our calendar, we can call Cozi and they can tell us what is on the calendar and where we are suppose to be and at what time!! The key is to enter as much information on the calendar because you never know when you might need it – instead of driving all over the place thinking you are remembering the address correctly, they are just a call away! Whew, that’s so helpful!
