DIY Lazy Susan Craft Station

112509lazysusan.jpgWe love Lazy Susans. There are just so many uses for them, and IKEA has a great Lazy Susan priced at around $5-$7 I believe. Here, a Lazy Susan has been made into an arts and crafts station inspired by the Pottery Barn Kids Lazy Susan with buckets.

The PB Kids version is $49; you can make this version for yourself for a lot less money. Purchase your Lazy Susan at IKEA if you can- it's very solid/sturdy for the price and a good size. You can probably find the buckets in a lot of places- we've seen them in the $1 section at Target pretty consistently. Paint the Lazy Susan and then glue your buckets on. It's that easy.

I really love this idea, since I make toys and dolls for my shop, I am constantly looking for great ideas to keep organized. This is just so pretty and makes a work station look neat and is a great design.
