How is it we didn't know about these labels until now? Apparently, the Container Store carries an entire system of them- so you can use erasable labels for your home files, the kid's cubbies, and whatever else you can think of.

No more scratching out labels or trying to peel them off and making a mess. These seem like they'd be really useful when it comes to kids because as we all know, kids are always changing and so is their stuff. So, what was a bin for toys yesterday, might be art supplies tomorrow.
The description says they wipe off clean- and yes, with a permanent marker! They even claim no ghost writing like dry erase boards often leave behind.
Find all the labels here, and let us know if you've tried them.
These are fantastic. Great for leftovers, homemade cleaning products, dating children's food & cups for daycare, etc. They stay on well through many cycles of the dishwasher - and erase completely!

I made my own version of these when I was a preschool teacher. I covered a blank label with contact paper and then used a Sharpie. When I wanted to remove the writing, I just wiped it off with a bit of nail polish remover. Who knew? I should have patented it ten years ago!
