Getting Dressed Made Easy: Days Of The Week Tags

041609-clothes.jpg Kids dressing themselves is a valuable lesson (one which we're not entirely sure everyone learned) which can go off without a hitch or can end in morning drama, lost pants, tantrums and more. Amy Locurto came up with a great system to help her son choose for himself without the morning headache of clothes finding. She even made them downloadable for you to use in your own home, click through for links...

041609-clothes2.jpg Amy sits down with her son one day a week and guides him through choosing things to wear that week. Then each night she takes the clothes out for the next day and hangs them on the doorknob for her son to put on in the morning.

It's a great way for him to get dressed before coming down for breakfast and makes each morning just a little bit easier. We won't lie, we're partially contemplating using them in our own closet, although it always seems to be our shoes we can't find and not our pants and shirts.

You can download a printable version of Amy's handiwork from her blog, you can even chose between a bright colored set of tags and a pastel set! Amy is always full of great ideas and shares all different free downloads to make your days a little brighter.

Thanks Amy!

I've been asked about the pants hangers several times. We usually buy my son's pants at JcPenney and have them include the hangers in the bag. Anytime I'm at a store with those, we ask if we can have the hangers:-)
