Look! A 25 Year Old Pez Collection

072809-pezcollection.jpg My husband has been collecting Pez since he was little. Just out of diapers, they were his special treat whenever he would accompany his mother to the grocery store. Sure, there's been many that were lost along the way...

...but when we were married and started combining our things, I found Pez in practically every box that we unpacked. Instead of trying to find a way to shelve all of these little candy holders, we tossed them all into a lidless apothecary jar and have been adding to the pile ever since. It always bring a pop of color to dull spaces and is perfect for little hands that might come to visit and intrigues adults as well.

Now they don't rule our space, stay organized and can be seen without overpowering the room where they are displayed! Although we sometimes wish we could keep ours like Lanni's collection, we know we'd need more than a few shelves!

It's been a fun collection in our home, especially knowing some of the items in the jar are as old as he is!

Love this! I've got a couple in random spots and am never sure what to do with them. Such a simple, perfect solution.

!
I've been collecting pez dispensers since I was a kid and I've been trying to find a way to display them that doesn't look too geeky (like a specially made cabinet) but will still prevent them from falling over every time I touch the shelf. This is a great idea that I'm stealing...
thanks!
