Peg Rails from Period House

071409primaries.jpgWe really like the clean and classic look of Shaker peg rails. They're a great solution for storage if you always find members of the family are leaving their coats or bags lying around. The Period House has just introduced these fun primary colors with children in mind.

We've ordered a rail from The Period House before so we can attest to the quality. We chose a more traditional paint color with a distressed finish and were very happy with it. You can also choose the number of hooks that you want.

You'll find the new collection of Kid Friendly Primaries here.

Thanks Ohdeeoh! You just reminded me that I have the same peg rail in unfinished wood from Ikea ($2) sitting in my garage...leftover from a closet reorg. I'm going to paint it to match my nursery and hang it low so Junior can learn to hang up his coat one day...

The peg rails shown are not the same as Ikea's. The quality of the peg rails shown surpass that of the Ikea product in strength, quality of materials used, quality of craftsman, and quality of finish. Further, these are made in the USA by American citizens.
