Tunto Keinu Swing

061809swing.jpg$250 for a swing of wood and rope is a bit out of our budget, but it sure is a good looking swing, and unlike something we might be able to put together- the rope is guaranteed to hold 4,000 pounds.

The designers also say they did a ton of testing on the wood part of the swing and it is pretty much unbreakable. So, everyone in your family including all the adults would be able to partake in the swinging fun. The swing comes to us from Finnish designer Mikko Kärkkäinen and is available at Rose and Radish.

Wow -- seriously? $250? Get a $2 board cut at home depot and buy several yards of rope. You'd have to be truly stupid AND rolling in dough to buy that swing...

And who has a 4,000-pound child, anyway? ; )

Excerpt from the website:

"Not designed for prolonged exposure to outdoor elements, so bring your swing inside when you're done playing. "

Seriously? Buy some static climbing rope if you really need to hold that much weight.

who has the time and effort to take your swing apart every time you use it!? that is almost more ridiculous than the price!
