Top Selling Baby Room Colors

2007-12-07-colorful nursery.jpgOver at My Perfect Color.com they've got a list of the fifteen top selling paint colors for the baby's room. There must still be a lot of traditionalists out there because they're all pretty tame.

• Benjamin Moore Kittery Green: This one seems to be popular throughout the house- it's a nice, calm, gender-neutral choice.

• Benjamin Moore Hint of Pink: Without getting too pink, this would add warmth to any room.

• Benjamin Moore Hay Stack: A pretty yellow.

Huh. I used black -- for my son's room, on 2 walls. (the crib is bright turquoise). Daughter's nursery was a Donald Kaufman colour - sort of lavender, but not so sweet -- with wenge floors. In this house, 2 walls of her room are fuschia, 1 a medium pink, with white furniture. Needless to say, I am into colour.

Limesickle is just a great paint colour in general. A friend did in fact use it in her child's room, but I and several friends/family members have used it in kitchens to good effect. It's just a nice, fresh green that's not too light and not too dark.
