When my niece lost her first tooth, my brother, like so many generations of parents before him, suggested that she put it under her pillow for the tooth fairy, who would take the tooth and leave her some money. My brother had googled fairy names and stumbled upon The Fairy Name Generator, a blog created by Emma Davies. Type in your child's first and last name and learn their fairy's name along with her identifying details. Of course, if you want to take the extra step, like my brother did, write a note, using one of your computer's fancier fonts, and shrink it down to the size of a postage stamp.
