Holiday Cards at Speckles & Weeds

Okay, it might seem a little early to be thinking about holiday cards, but you know how it is. By the time you order your cards, have them delivered, write and address them, then put them in the mail... well, we think the math is just about right. If you liked the Speckles & Weeds gift cards we featured several months back, then you'll love their new holiday designs.

What we love about Speckles & Weeds' entire line of parent-oriented cards can be summed up in their motto: "Rally humility and celebrate our transcendence."

As parents, we are the purveyors of Christmas, at least in the eyes of our children. It's truly a joy and a blessing, but let's admit it: it's fraught with misadventures. These cards help us see these misadventures for what they are: one more part of the glorious lumps-and-bumps experience of being parents.

All cards are printed on uncoated recycled paper, and are blank inside with a pale green wash. Cards can be ordered individually (scroll down to see the holiday cards) or in boxed sets at Speckles & Weeds.

I liked the one about Santa not drinking milk. My husband is from New Zealand and he said they always left beer out for Santa.

The first one about the wrapping paper tubes literally made me snort water up my nose! Hilarious!
