Margareta Persson invented Baby Bed Blocks when her daughter had multiple ear infections as a baby. She got tired of using telephone books and encyclopedias to elevate one side of the crib.

When they're not in use, the bed blocks can be used by toddlers for stacking or filling with play dough or sand. We found them in a few Canadian stores online right here.
What do you think? They do warn on the website that you have to make sure the baby doesn't slide down, and that babies do turn in their sleep and sometimes wind up with their heads at the wrong side. Would you use Baby Bed Blocks?

Great product! I put a quilt under my son's mattress, but it's so hard to lift the mattress and lay it flat I haven't taken it out for months! This seems like a much better solution.

We set one side of the bassinet up on books and magazines when my son was younger and sniffly, but he pretty much also rolled to the bottom.
