You answered our survey about outdoor play space and it looks like the majority of you have a backyard. We don't, but a recent addition to our bedtime reading list involves planting a garden and now someone really wants to plant a garden. The lack of space isn't going to deter us. We're going to try container gardening for the first time. Some preliminary research led us to these Smart Pots.
If the Smart Pot looks unique, it is. It's a soft-sided fabric container that has enough rigidity, however, to hold its shape. The material makes Smart Pot an aeration container (better for allowing root growth). Plus we think the black fabric is kind of cute. The Smart Pot website has helpful tips for growing your own potatoes, tomatoes and herbs.
