Playful Learning & The Hope Revolution

072809-hoperevo2.jpg Playful Learning, a fabulous website by Mariah Bruehl is packed full of educational activities that promote positive family interactions. It's a magnificent resource that's presented beautifully and is easy to get lost in (we did), which was our original intention of this post, but then we came across the Playful Learning blog and fell in love with a very hopeful project, or shall we say, revolution...

Mariah has worked in the field of education for over a decade and is mother to a 4 and 6 year old. She's a busy Mom and the brains behind Playful Learning. It's the perfect solution for rainy days and is packed full of knowledge and important small lessons to keep curious minds busy. Check out all the site has to offer. Her hard work is a true resource and gem of the internet!

Also on the site is Mariah's blog, where we found the Hope Revolution project she participated in with her kids. They cut up paper that had been previously water colored on and wrote inspirational messages they wanted to spread throughout the community. They set out on their adventure and left them in plain sight for others to find.

There's a Flickr pool full of inspiration for ideas if you'd like to recreate this project in your own town, but Mariah has several stunning photos on her blog cataloging their adventures and locations where they left their notes! Make sure to check it out, it's sure to brighten your day the same way it did ours!

Thanks Mariah!
