Same day shipping for USD $90 (that price tag was the biggest complaint we heard from some of you last time. Anyone have a recent playtray purchase and reviews to share?

We got ours 3 weeks ago, and LOVE IT. Had to remove the infant seat piece - just the front part, which is not ideal because the PlayTray only comes with this "strap" to basically hold the toddler in the chair so they don't slide down, but my daughter is only 1, so she doesn't try to get out of the chair (yet).
It's easy to clean, seems pretty sturdy. We also were able to just take the tray with us to my parents' house where they have a vintage TrippTrapp (from the 80s!) and it fits perfectly

We are very happy with the PlayTray. We never used an infant rail on our Tripp Trapp, so we continue to use the harness with the PlayTray for our one-year-old. The PlayTray comes with an optional strap that replaces the Tripp Trapp harness. It goes between the child's legs to keep them from slipping below, but it doesn't prevent the child from climbing out. Getting our child seated and harnessed is a little awkward with the PlayTray, but we feel it is worth it to be safe (especially if you have monkey-boy for a son). The tray itself is sturdy and fits very well on the chair. It has a high rim so it contains food and liquid well. The plastic material cleans up very easily with a wet paper towel. Our son also enjoys playing with cups and toys on the tray while we're cooking.
