Upcycle Ottoman

2009-06-10-ottoman.jpg

They're too young for Starbucks but not all coffee is necessarily off limits. Check out these Upcycle Ottomans made from repurposed fair trade coffee sacks.

We have 2 cube ottomans in the play area. They are perfect for toddlers to sit on and younger babes to use to pull-up on. No hard or sharp corners. We also like to sit on them ourselves when playing. Something stylish like these Upcycle Ottomans (each one is unique) would be a great addition to a child's space. You can get them here. These would go great with the burlap buckets we blogged previously.

Any idea of price? No specifics on their site.

Or, even better, a source for surplus burlap bags that I could recover my own ottomans with?

Kalsertizer- I've gone into small, local coffee shops (more the gourmet kind, not Starbucks) in Brooklyn and they've given their old bags to me for nothing...might want to check around locally.

I found these ottomans at 2modern, and the price was $425! Of course, if the price were reasonable, I might buy one, but now I'll just have to make my own.
