Color Combo: Pink and Green

We've always loved pink and green as a color combination. The green seems to balance out the sweetness of the pink and adds a playful element. And it makes for a soothing palette as well, as seen here in this bedroom. Why not try incorporating some pink and green into your teen or tween's bedroom?

We found this image on Country Living's Web site and think the look is just lovely. To achieve this look without having to paint your walls, start with subtle additions like a pink or fuchsia lamp, mint green sheets and pillows.

Toss in some pink picture frame and rug! If the a pink rug is too much, then opt for a muted sage rug as seen in the photo. It continues the color scheme without being too loud.
