Roundup: Five Fun Room Accents with Boys in Mind

Anything that doesn't have superheros or sports teams on it -- and that looks cute in my son's room -- is certainly on the top of my decorating list. Sadly, any mother of a boy can tell you that we don't run into those things very often. We have to keep our eyes wide open to find the cool stuff!

Here are five items we recently found that would look great in any boys' (or girls') room:

Framed Animal Portraits by Ryan Berkley, $38
Keith Haring Domino Set by Vilac, $75.
Straps by Droog Design, $30.
Numbers Floor Pillow by PB Teen, $16.99
TwistTogether Lamp, $104

Love the framed animal portraits and, in fact, just purchased the goat one the other day for my daughter's nursery!

I just bought these great posters for my son's room (he is 3 1/2) from the Amtrak website. They feature nice graphics and are on good, heavy stock. Best of all, they are only $5 apiece! The shipping cost just as much, but all in all it is still a bargain. Check it out:
