It's made of 100% organic vegan faux fur lined with organic cotton twill fabric. They recommend spot cleaning to keep the lofty feel, or you can machine wash and dry which results in a more "matted look + feel." The Pomeroy Throw is 50" x 50", a good size for most small nurseries.

Yes, these look nice for a nursery! I do wonder about the "more matted" look, though, and a rug for a child's room would inevitably need to be washed...
I have a question: has anyone tried one of the Thomas Paul dhurrie rugs, either in your home or child's room? I especially like the flock flat weave rug, but am wondering how it would work for a nursery:
