Roundup: 'Tween and Teen Rugs

Since many 'tween and teens spend the majority of the time in their rooms on the floor, we may as well make it comfortable for them. And why not make it cute looking, to boot? Of course, don't tell them it's "cute" -- try to use the word "cool" or "bad" or "fly." O.K., we'll stop. We're totally dating ourselves, here.

Land of Nod's hand hooked wool Round and Round, $129 - $599, rug adds a nice geometric element to your child's room. Wake Up Frankie's Swirl Area Rug, is made with flannel and sports a colorful swirl pattern on a white background, $35.

We love PB Teen's Dorset Floral Rug, featuring a bird and flower pattern which is quite popular now, $129 - $599.
Also from PB Teen is the Classic Wool Border Rug, $129 - $599, which has a very sisal-esque appearance. Made of 100% wool, the rugs add a classic yet funky element to the room.

Delia*s Piano Key Rug requires a sense of humor as this fun rug may not suit everyone's taste, $36.Finally, there's JC Penney's Marbles rectangle rug that has a fun pattern in a stain resistant fabric. Good idea!

The latest one I've been hearing is "that's sick" for something cool.

I like the pb teen one also. I just checked their site and really like a lot of theirs. The felted shag, the Flokati, Nottingham floral, rip tide, gradual dot, and dottie....

Well, I'm a kid and I would say those rugs are rad :)
But i'm the only one who says that.
tight and cute and cool are appropriate adjectives for those rugs.
Just kidding about the tight part.
I don't use that phrase, personally.
