The Garden Stepping Stones Rug

2007.03.27.nursery.gardensteprug1.jpgA little pink, a little blue, a lot of bright! The Garden Stepping Stones rug over at PoshTots might be just the thing if you are looking for a rug that can easily make the transition from girl's room to boy's room, and from nursery to toddler's room to kid's room. Which is a good thing, because frankly, once we buy a rug for our nursery, we hope to get a few good years out of it!

Whimsical enough to be a great addition to a kid's room, but we also like that it is sophisticated enough to use in other areas of the home - a guest room, for those lucky enough to have one, or in a dining room as a bright addition of spring colour after a long, grey winter. To get a better sense of the round tile motif in this rug, there is a larger photo, below.

The Garden Stepping Stones rug comes in a variety of sizes. The smallest, 2'x3' is just $85, the 8'x11' is $1,475.00, but there is a size (and price) range in between those extremes!

Of course what we are wondering is, do you need a carpet in your nursery, and more importantly, if you do, how did you decide which one?
