Haven't we had this discussion before?

For kids who have epilepsy, or are at increased risk from minor head injuries, these are great.

But for normal kids with normal skulls? Um, no.

Every time I've seen a child out in public with one of these on I've assume there must have been a malformed fontanel or something of the like. It never occurred to me that there wasn't some sort of birth defect!

Yikes. Poor kids. Talk about being pre-programed for anxiety disorders!

well, i guess it kinda comes down to how clumsy your kid is. I cant tell you how close i was to buying something like this. It felt like every couple minutes my son would fall, trip, knock, bump or scrape his head. But i never did though. Its was like as soon as i started looking into it, it just suddenly stopped, thank God!
