The Container Store Shelving Sale

2007.09.07.nursery.elfa.shelving.sale.jpgWe love a sale, especially one as timely as this one. At The Container Store this week, shelving is on sale, just in time for fall cleaning, or if you are so inclined, as part of your Fall Cure, which starts Monday on the AT city sites.

That is the Platinum and White elfa Boy's Room configuration, at left, regularly $329.57 and currently on sale for $247.07. We pulled a few of our favorite sales items, below.

2007.09.07.nursery.ConcealBookShelf.jpgYou may have noticed this on AT:LA. But now it is on sale! the Conceal Bookshelf from Umbra lets your books appear to float on the wall, unsupported. Regularly $9.99, now $7.49. The large book version is also on sale, and holds up to 20lbs of books. Regularly $12.99, it is currently on sale for $9.74.

More elfa - this time, the elfa Kids Reach In Closet. Regularly $496.85, now $401.78.

Can't use wall-mounted shelving? InterMetro Playroom shelving is also on sale, and it is sturdy! Each shelf can hold up to 500lbs of stuff. Regularly $309.84, now $232.38.

There is lots more on sale in the Container Store's shelving sale, so if you are looking for shelves, maybe now is the time. Seen any other good sales lately you want to share with us? We love a bargain!

Nothing against the Container Store, but Ikea's Antonius system is just like the Elfa system, but much, much cheaper.

There is actually a great example of someone scoping out elfa and then going the Ikea route here:

(scroll down for the closet shot). Leeza did an amazing job on that closet!
