It seems a Bumbo would help prevent flat-head because it keeps an infant upright before they can sit up alone.

I thought about a buying a Bumbo because my son seemed to be sitting up later than other children. I think, though, that he just needs to learn and the Bumbo would hinder that. Plus it's one more thing to take up room and how long would he really use it?

Anyone else tried one?

I have a bumbo, same color as pictured above. I got it when my son was four months old, and he loved it! I had him sitting in it on the countertop while I washed dishes and folded laundry. Sometimes we took it with us to our parents' houses, and when we'd go out to eat, because at the time he wasn't big enough or strong enough to sit in a restaurant high chair yet.
