The Mei Tai style carrier has saved me many times. My favorite carrier is the Moby Wrap (link in my name!) but the Mei Tai is great for times like having to carry a lot of bags upstairs to my condo when he's asleep in his carseat, or when I've had a spontaneous trip to Souplantation, and I can just tie baby onto my back as I go through the salad bar! He LOVES it.
