Etsy Scavenger: Noonies at Lala's Pequenos

noonie-3.jpgOh my. How adorable is this? Designed as a cozy way to swaddle your baby as he or she lounges about the house all day (lucky baby), the Noonie is somewhere between a sleeping bag and a swaddling blanket, but waaaaaaay cuter than both. We can picture one of these being a definite showstopper at a baby shower.

noonie-4.jpgMade of a 100% cotton shell with a supremely soft minkie lining, Noonies are available in a variety of patterns. Organic fabrics are also available.

(Note that, according to the seller, the Noonie is not designed for unsupervised sleep and shouldn't be considered a substitute for a swaddling blanket or bunting bag.)

That's adorable, it looks like a baby in a peapod. And I'm sure it's great for people with chilly houses, it can be a pain carrying a baby around in a loosely wrapped blanket. Blankets get unwrapped, they fall off, the baby isn't covered...that seems both adorable and functional.

Super cute, but probably useful only until the baby is rolling over and moving on their own.

but that's still a good 4 to 6 months for most babies & would still be a lifesaver in the beginning. and there are plenty of more expensive products with a shorter baby lifespan.
i would have loved one of these!
