Etsy Scavenger: Numbers Posters at Creative Neesh

numbers-poster-top.jpgIt's no big secret that we love alphabet prints here at Ohdeedoh. This occasionally causes us to forget to pay homage to that standby of Western mathematics: trusty ol' Arabic numerals. Fortunately, these great prints -- available in four different color schemes -- came along to remind us.

I purchased these last month in the green/brown/red color scheme to go with some of the Tiddliwinks Safari bedding from Target (the changing pad cover and blanket with the polka dots). They are absolutely adorable! I had a difficult time finding frames for them at first (the seller recommends frames from Ikea, but I have no Ikea nearby), so I ended up going with 16x20 frames and had mats custom cut to fit the prints at my local framing store. There's about 2" of matting around each side of the print, and they look great!

I am kind of frustrated/disturbed at how much these are a complete copy of the original Binth Numbers Poster. Am I alone in noticing this?

I think they're similar, but not the same thing (I had to go Google them because I had never seen them). I personally don't have a problem with it since they are different and creative. And they're cute.

They are similar. And why would I buy these when I can get the original Binth design for only $15 more?

Just Googled the Binth poster... Definitely similar - sort of proves the old adage that there is no such thing as an original idea! I do like that this Etsy seller also offers a matching alphabet design, and she offers them both in multiple colors. I'm sure I'm not the only one with a nursery color scheme that wouldn't mesh with the Binth poster.
