ICFF is this weekend. So this week we'll be blogging new product lines that will be revealed at the show. (Stay tuned for a complete ICFF roundup after the show!)

First up are the Svan Bouncers. Svan has introduced three new colors, our favorite of which is this vanilla and watermelon combination.

There also is this vanilla and sage combination. The lighter vanilla canopy seems befitting now that the weather is warmer. A new black canopy with red seat also is now available.

The Svan Bouncer is recommended for babies up to 30 pounds. The seat is fully-adjustable - baby can sleep in a reclined position or sit upright for playing and feedings.

Sara Kate here and former owner of a Svan bouncer. First, the good news: this chair is so pretty, love the wood element and the colors are all fun. It's also wonderful that it can hold heavier children (many other bouncers only hold 20 or so pounds). However, a few things bothered us about this and I do hope they've improved upon them since last year's model:

- we couldn't pick it up and move it with one hand because the top and the bottom separate (picture holding baby in one arm and needing the seat to be somewhere else in the room - disaster!)

- the fabric on the harness frayed and the fabric on the seat pilled within a few weeks of very light use.

- it didn't really bounce. Our little girl can really get her bounce on, and still couldn't make this thing do much.

Sara, you'll be happy to know that the new colors also come with NEW fabric! Apparently Svan knew that the old fabric was too delicate so they came out with NEW fabric.

Also, if you have the straps attached (snapped) on to the base, you should be able to pick it up and move it.
