We think modern families will really appreciate this new furniture piece "Embrace" by John Green which straddles the line between adult and child in both size and function. Two pieces of differing heights can stand alone as benches, shelves or kids' desks or they can embrace each other to form a slim, sleek bench/shelf/magazine holder.
For now, Embrace is only being sold by Snow Home in England, but they do ship worldwide and we're hoping someday to find this in the States. It comes in birch, walnut, oak and white and sells for 249 £ (roughly $400 US) which makes it a bit of an investment, but perhaps one with a long life in your home.
