Foldschool Cardboard Furniture

foldschool_chair.jpgIf you liked the origami Star chair from Habitat but don't have any immediate plans to do some shopping in Paris, these nifty Foldschool stools, chairs, and rockers might be right up your alley. And they're our favorite price: free.

foldschool_stool.jpgAll you have to do is download the free patterns, print them out, transfer them to 4mm single-layered cardboard, and rev up your DIY spirit. We like the idea of leaving the cardboard unadorned, but your kids may be tempted to paint or color the furniture. And since, technically, it belongs to them, we guess you have to let them.

Or you could keep it for yourself. According to the designers, Foldschool furniture can easily carry the weight of an adult. The best part? When your kids (or you) are done with it, the entire thing can be broken down and recycled.

Download the patterns here.
