Kids chairs are so adorable that they tend to hang around in the house, sometimes for years, even after they're too small for anyone to sit in. But in this bathroom featured in Marie Claire Maison, a baby chair has been rescued from turning into clutter by repurposing it as a low-slung towel rack next to the bath...

For as long as I can remember, my mother has used our old wooden school house chair in the kitchen to reach things on the upper cabinets (we are short). When it wasnt being used, she put it at the table like a regular chair. It's much more stable then a step stool and easier to move around.
When my Nana moved here, we got her one too.

Love the bathroom! Easy to tell that there are no children in the house to use that child's chair. . . art work on the floor next to the tub . . . that would last all of two seconds with my little ones in the bath. Ah, but I can dream of the day when that may again be and option.

I hang my girl's little vintage chairs on the wall as art. They look really cute all lined up, and we can just lift them off the nails when she wants to have a doll tea party. Actually, they are doll's chairs, so they are a little smaller--about 12 to 16 inches tall. I think I'm going to move them to the dining room wall though, because they are a little ominous hanging over our heads above the couch.
