HandySitt

Too big for a high chair, too small for an adult chair. What do you do for kids who need a boost? Put them in a HandySitt! While we know that there are cheaper booster seats out there, a friend recently clued us in to her struggle to find a booster that works safely on chairs that either do not have flat seats, or that have padded seats, which is why we were so excited to find the Danish-made Handysitt.

Folds for easy travel and storage, and works easily on chairs with curved backs, curved seats, and padded seats. We love that the site shows how this product works on a variety of different chair types, and that it comes in both a wood version, for $89.95, and a brushed steel version for $99.95. Cushions come in either black or red. They work well with modern chair designs, and lets face it - HandySitts are a little more stylish than the pile of phone books we sat on as a kid!

I was a bit skeptical of this booster seat until I saw it in person. It is very stable and compact. It would also be suitable to take to restaurants or anyone's house who may not have a booster seat.
