Me Too Chair as a Catchall

2008-08-05-me too repurposed.jpg
In August's issue of Real Simple, we saw this idea in one family's house tour. Since the kids had outgrown the Phil and Ted's Me Too seat, they kept it attached to their kitchen table, and used it as a catchall for homework.

If they need to, they can detach it from the table, and move it from room to room. It seems like a good idea for repurposing something for not so obvious storage.

That got us thinking, what else could you put in the Me Too? Has anyone else gone this route?

Homework belongs in the back-pack AS SOON AS it is completed. (We have had too many disasters around here doing otherwise!)

If you have to work too hard to repurpose an item, I say recycle it to someone who has need for the item as it was originally intended to be used.

Ours is a catchall now and we still need it as a highchair! It's getting donated or given away as soon as we don't use it as a highchair anymore--one less thing to catch the stuff we don't know what to do with.
