Kids like soft seats. And these bright, bouncy cushions certainly fit that bill. We first happened across these hemispheres in our local library, scattered across the floor of the childrens area. Unlike the kid-size wooden chairs, all primly pushed under small tables nearby, these cushions were slid upon, sat upon, and carried around by children of all sizes. Toddlers seemed to love their pliant forms and lightweight heft, and older children plopped right down on them, books in hand, for some good reading time. Even babies reclined on them, draped over their toadstool-shaped humps, happily sucking their thumbs.
