This is clever...and charming. Take a look at ohkimma's beautiful nursery. We love everything about it but we immediately were drawn to the adorable clothes hanging off of a simple drying rack at the foot of the crib.

A budget-friendly way to hang clothes (and blankets, quilts) in a nursery if you don't have a closet or would rather have the items on display.
Here is something similar for $9.99.
I wonder how many times baby has knocked that over! ;)

Their baby must not be crawling yet. Until crawling, great idea .... post crawling, terrible idea and dangerous to boot! My 8 month old is fascinated with trying to pull herself up on our drying rack when it's being used to hold laundry. Most drying racks are not terribly stable; add a 20-lb unsteady stander, and a BOOM! is only seconds away.

Exactly what I was about to say... looks good, after baby starts crawling; not so good!

i am sure the parents have thought of this for future, but i want to join all comments above--it's dangerous after the baby finds a way to reach it. the racks are 'tippy,' and more importantly, easy to collapse. fingers, even a neck, can get pinched or stuck, or worse, in the hinges. dangerous.

We also wanted baby clothes out in the open, easy to reach. We solved it by two of those over-the-door plastic hooks sticking out of his closet on the outside of the doors, easy to reach. (The kind that stick out a bit and permit the hanging of numerous things on hangers and then a hook at the very end).
Over-the-door hangers have been a huge help while our little one was a crawling, reaching toddler. We hung a little white mesh bag ($1 at the dollar store) over the closet door too, for the "diaper kit" as we called it. You know, the diaper cream, cloths for wiping, etc. It was handy for us and way too high for him to reach.
Along these same lines...
We have limited (ok, it's actually ZERO) shelf space in our bathroom outside of the tiny medicine cabinet. So we took one of those organizers that they make for hanging on the side of a crib (they are soft cloth, with pockets--they resemble shoe organizers). We snapped this pocket organizer over the outside of the shower rod and instantly had a bathroom storage solution that we could reach, but the little guy couldn't.
