Have a surfing fan in your house? They may like these sleek surfboard shelves from PB Teen, but at $179 each you may as well buy a real surfboard. Or you might consider a handcrafted version for a fraction of the cost.
High/Low: Surf Board Shelves
In addition to the surfboard shelf, PB Teen has a handful of surf-themed room accessories including a mirror , vintage-style screenprinted tackboard and a three-tier shelf. All are quite expensive.
On Etsy we found Mike's Shelves which, slightly shorter than the PT Teen version, are only $40. They're available in blue, white, pink and red (with a "shark bite").
If you do have a little beach bum around, a surf theme might be short-lived so we think this cheaper alternative is a wise choice.
