Look! Bookshelf As Closet

Our Now You See It, Now You Don't Contest is over, but the great storage ideas keep coming. Check out this bookcase turned into a closet for Miss Pilar.

According to mom Jenn: this is a "budget-conscious clothing storage option. Our daughter's room was in last year's smallest contest. She was a newborn at the time, and we stored clothes in bins. Because we carved her 8x7 room out of a studio space, she doesn't have a closet. Now that's she's a toddler, I took an IKEA Billy bookcase, stapled fabric to the back and installed a $5 closet rod. She has a convenient and accessible "closet" that she loves. Great idea and what a beautiful wardrobe she has!

Jenn shows us her other great budget-friendly project. Fabric and staple guns go a long way. I also stapled remnant oilcloth to the $20 IKEA kids table and chair set to make it easier to clean, and just more fun. Lots of people ask me if it's some special custom set.

Thanks for sharing, Jenn!

What a clever idea! I'm currently hooked on fabric stapled to furniture. We have an open backed entertainment center that has been transformed. Not to mention hiding all those cords.

I love this idea. I'm going to use it for hanging dress up clothes for my girls in their play room.
