The first time we saw these, we couldn't figure out what they were. In fact, we assumed they were part of an art installation, until we realized that they were actually shelves next to a piece of art, holding artist statement brochures. But we never forgot them, and now that we are thinking about nursery design, we think these simple Ikea shelves might be an ingenious way to organize a child's board books.
