Even a small closet can be a luxury, but when space is an issue -- or if there is no closet at all -- good old fashioned creativity kicks in. We found these great posts in our archives which deal on how the closet issue is approached. Whether you are sans closet, use the closet as a playroom or bedroom, or just change up the closet a bit to give your area more room, here are some of our favorite closet posts.
No Closet? No Problem! As entry #13 (seen above) from our 2008 contest "Now You See It, Now You Don't" showed us, under bed storage is definitely an area that should be used to its fullest potential.
In Beatrix's Nursery Tour, we saw how Elizabeth removed the closet door and added a curtain, which gave Trixie's room a more open feel to it.
The bookshelf closet in Sebastian's room was a freebie which Rachel (Sebastian's mother) added two hooks, a curtain rod and some fun wood grain contact paper.
Haley's room showcases a great drying rack as an ingenious closet. Quirky and functional, Haley's "closet" shows that you certainly don't need a closet in a room.
Like Rachel, Jenn also used a book shelf and tells us, "Because we carved her [Pilar's] 8' x 7' room out of a studio space, she doesn't have a closet. Now that's she's a toddler, I took an IKEA Billy bookcase, stapled fabric to the back and installed a $5 closet rod."
