So simple, yet so brilliant. Brooklyn-based furniture designer Pete Oyler takes machined aluminum pegs and wraps them in cast rubber. The effect is rather like oversized rubber bands stretched on nails, but a lot more upscale. Use one alone in a nook, or cover a wall with them. Either way, the look is fun and infinitely flexible.
