Studio Gorm Shed/Shelf

A place for everything. And everything in its place. That's our tagline for the Shed/Shelf by Studio Gorm, kind of a large bento box for your living accessories. The Rotterdam-based design studio maybe never intended for Shed/Shelf to have application in the nursery or playroom, but we think it works well here.

Opening up the Shed/Shelf reveals an abundance of nooks and crannies to place toys and art supplies. The "staircase" shelving makes it a candidate for an abstract dollhouse. Open up another leaf to reveal more secret places to store clothes and books.

When done, close Shed/Shelf to hide the clutter and wheel it into the corner.

Just because a child could make use of it doesn't necessarily mean it fits well into the nursery. I love my baby, but I'm not going to comission a piece of furniture for him that I wouldn't be able to afford for my self. A few baby friendly items that are also wallet friendly would be welcome.
