By merely taking one look at Lanni’s room, we can say we probably would have been great friends with her back when we were 19. Her room takes us back to the glorious 80s -- filled with bold colors, great lines and plenty of nostalgic fun.

We love Lanni's organization boxes, fun paint choices and her great collections: Polaroids, Pez and Rubik’s Cubes.
It's a cheerful room just about any teen would be envious of!

I was trying to think of a way to use 45 records on the wall in a room without it looking too cluttered. I like having the larger records lined up like this!
Love the sunglasses display on a hanger, too.

Anyone know where I can purchase similar hanging shelves for my books? The ones I keep finding at stores like Target don't seem to be strong enough to carry the weight of books. Please help... any tips will be much appreciated!

The room is amazing, I particularly love the chalk board wall, that would be a great way for the kids to write little reminders and stuff.
@thefayga - I think you can get those shelves at Home Depot, I bought some very similar to those from there.
