Mini "Eames" Chair

It is no secret we're huge fans of the Eames RAR molded plywood chair, so when we spotted this mini version of the iconic chair we were pleased as punch.

However, when we realized it wasn't manufactured by Herman Miller we were less than enthused. We have our fingers crossed that the real thing will some day exist!

Didn't claim it was Panky Snow. Just pointing out that there is finally an Eames Childrens' Chair in production, at long last, for the Eames fans out there. It only went back into production the past year or so. (I could be wrong, but don't think the Eameses ever did a mini version of the RAR for children, so there are probably all sorts of issues surrounding that which would affect whether Herman Miller issues one).

Awww... they're so cute when they're little.

Now if I just had an extra $1200 burning a hole in my pocket, my little guy could have all his buddies over and play with trains in style. ;)
