Beautifully made. We were impressed by the wooden toys available at IKEA these days. Check out the KLAPPARs family of frog, fish and hedgehog. We're also loving the MULA push toy. Via: NotCot.

We have several wooden toys from IKEA and they are fantastic and so reasonably priced.

Eurpoean safety standards are SOOO much higher than US standards that I feel comfortable with the material quality (although my assembly of furniture is often suspect). I would be super shocked if there was a major safety recall, particularly on anything aimed at children.

Honestly, perhaps it was the problem with the one we bought but, we have that push toy and it does not work well. My son had a lot of trouble pushing it as it didn't roll that well. The little characters are supposed too pop out and they seemed to stick a bit. We were quite disappointed. We have another great push toy from Vilac that looks like a frog.

The pull toys look really cute though!

maybe not so easy if you live a fair distance away, but there is a great return policy as well if you may be unfortunate enough to snag the less-than-perfect item.
