Sophie the Giraffe is the most popular baby toy in France. And babies do love it...I felt like I was giving Felix a dog toy but he thought Sophie was great! (Now you can buy tons of stuff with Sophie's face all over it; plates, sippy cups, videos.) Simply Sophie is the best and if you travel to France it is a fun and unique gift to pick up!

I thought I've seen that giraffe around town (we are surrounded by the French Alps so that must be why they are so plentiful here!)...thanks for the info, because we have just hit the heavy-duty teething stage!
