    Not to be a broken record, but your back will get a break if you get a good carrier and don't buy a Bjorn. Bjorns are a poorly designed carrier for both you and the baby.

    lb, I totally agree with you. More if the baby is carried facing forward: he'll get his genitals squishes and a very bad back and arms. I am a great fan of the hoppediz sling. http://hoppediz.de/ The baby is wrapped tightly, with many different knots according to the development stage of the baby's back.
