Slipcovered Headboards for Kids

kaleidoscopebedTOPPIC1.jpgIf our Older Children's Bedroom Roundup left you feeling inspired to begin changing your child's room from a nursery to a big boy/girl room the best place to begin is with a bed. A great bed is a perfect way for a room to take shape. We recently found Kaleidoscope slipcovered headboards and love their look.

kaleidoscopebedPIC2.jpg Soft and striking, the slipcovered headboards, by J. Latter, can set the tone and the palette for the room. We love the myriad of fabric selections offered leaving the option to change the headboards easily as your child's taste changes.

Adorable, but way out of my price range. I'd rather just make my own.

The fabric on those pillows is awesome. But not available on their site!

Hi Petworth,
So glad you like the fabric. It was purchased at the ever-so-fabulous Diamond Foam and Fabric in LA. You can also try F&S fabrics on Pico in LA too. It was pretty reasonable - like less than $30/yard. The coolest thing about our beds, besides the slipcovers, is that you can choose if you want a headboard, daybed, or traditional headboard and footboard. It sorta lets you be creative with what you want without having to hire a decorator or be restricted by the (zzz) catalog offerings. Plus we can source other designer fabrics not listed on the site. Thanks for checking us out!
