Name: Jeffrey, Jennifer, and Ponzi (our 90-lb mastiff pup).
Child's Name and Age: Pilar, 6 months
Location: Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn, NY
Size: 950 sf single family home; nursery 80 sf

Favorite other nursery from the contest:

Violent's Urban Treehouse - We love how Violet's parents manipulated their existing space to create her nursery. Given the space limitations, it seems surprisingly open and airy. The perfect combination of warm, comfortable and cozy, yet sophisticated. Great job! (And it's not just because we also love the Tsunami fabric!)

Next on the nursery to-do list:

We'd only completed one wall of Pilar's nursery--it used to be a carpeted, decrepit galley kitchen--when Jenn went into labor. We finished the next wall when Pilar was 3 months old (who says you can't drywall with a baby in a sling?!). So we've set a goal that we'll add a door by the time Pilar's crawling. Because the nursery wall bisects one of our only windows, we are hoping to design a simple sliding or bifold door. Suggestions welcome!

Love the room...so cheery.

How about a barn door? It looks like you have plenty of room on the wall for one.
