Lucy's Baby Blanket Bedroom
Small Kids, Big Color Entry #44

thumbs up

Name: Lucy
Age: 2
Location: Orange, California

Color Inspiration:My inspiration for this room came from a polka-dot baby blanket that I made for my daughter. The blanket is at the foot of her bed in one of the pictures she still uses it as a toddler.

Give Farleigh & Lucy a THUMBS UP if you think this room belongs in the finals!
Thumbs Up Voting is only activated for 48 Hours — so don't delay!

Tip For Using Color: Go bold instead of safe pastels. Kids respond better to bright colors with lots of contrast. Why does a baby boys room have to be powder blue, green, or yellow? Break the rules - I did and everyone loved it!

Colors Used: I can't remember the color names but all of our paints came from Home Depot.

Thanks for the comments! I didn't make the kitchen I found it after the room was done believe or not it if from KidKraft. The painting above Lucy's Bed was done for her my husband it even has her foot prints from the hospital in it (Sean Barnhart). Other Artist's in the room are Fafi (ballerina), Sam Flores (above the kitchen), and yumiyumi (above the changing table) http://www.etsy.com/shop/yumiyumi .
